150 Years of Legacy
From Dr. William Hooper Councill’s founding vision in 1875 to today’s global network of alumni, our story is one of perseverance, scholarship, and service. This collection was created to celebrate the enduring spirit of community that continues to rise from Normal’s Hill and to honor the generations who have carried our legacy forward.
The inspiration behind this collection is deeply rooted in celebrating Alabama A&M University and it’s origin, our evolution, and the lifelong impact it has had on so many of us. AAMU has been life changing, giving us not only an education but also lifelong friendships, bonds that have become family, and a sense of pride that unites us across the world.
The designs draw from our rich history, highlighting the university’s different names over the years and paying tribute to our founder, Dr. Councill, through a signature graphic tee. Each piece reflects the evolution of AAMU and the strength of our Bulldog pride, honoring the past while embracing the future.
This timeline is not just history, it’s our shared story. A story of resilience, excellence, and a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.
